Position Overview: As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) at Quest, Inc., you will play a crucial role in the daily lives of our clients. You will provide assistance with activities of daily living, promote their emotional well-being, and support their personal growth and development. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide daily living assistance to our residents with special care needs.
• Engage in the personal care needs of individuals, including hygiene assistance, meal preparation, and medication administration.
• Implement and monitor individualized care plans, promoting personal growth and achievement.
• Facilitate community involvement and socialization through various activities and outings.
• Ensure a safe and nurturing environment, advocating for our residents' well-being and comfort.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to provide holistic support.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• 18 years of age or older required.
• Experience with household appliances, office equipment, Hoyer lifts, van lifts, and adaptive devices such as wheelchairs and scooters.
• 1 year of experience working with persons who have developmental disabilities or working in an intensive behavior, psychiatric, nursing home or childcare setting.
